On June 27, the annual Menstrual Hygiene Day was celebrated at Sapphire Hotel during an event organized by YWCA. ACLIC members played a leading role throughout the program by confidently hosting the event, facilitating an engaging panel discussion with representatives from relevant ministries, and presenting educational literature on menstrual hygiene. The event focused on raising awareness about menstrual health, breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation, and highlighting the challenges many girls and women face in managing their periods with dignity. Through meaningful discussions and active participation, the program emphasized the importance of collective action in creating a more informed, supportive, and period-friendly world for everyone.
