Addis Child Led Initiative Coalition members together with Children from across Africa,  actively joined the 10th International Policy Conference in Ethiopia. Working alongside other African child-led groups, they co-authored a joint Call to Action urging governments and stakeholders to adopt child-centred policies and advance sustainable livelihoods.

Fikir Tadesse, Vice-President of the Addis Child-Led Initiative Coalition, called on African leaders to protect and empower adolescent girls by ending child marriage, teenage pregnancy, gender-based violence, and harmful practices like FGM. She emphasized that investing in girls’ education and safety enables them to become powerful agents of change, helping build a stronger and more prosperous Africa.
