On April 4, 2026, the Organization for Social Development (OSD) trained ACLIC members and Child Parliament representatives in Bishoftu on child-led research methods. With support from Save the Children, the training strengthened children’s ability to produce evidence and advocate for their rights, reinforcing their role as active agents of change.

OSD launches new initiative to strengthen child participation in advocacy and accountability

On March 21, 2026, the Organization for Social Development (OSD) launched a new child rights project in Adama, bringing together 40 participants including children from ACLIC, government representatives, and partners like Save the Children International. The workshop highlighted the vital role of child-led initiatives in promoting, advocating, and monitoring child rights. Through presentations, dialogue, and collaboration, stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening children’s voices, expanding participation platforms, and advancing accountability systems across Ethiopia.
