On May 1, 2026, ACLIC members and Nifas Silk Lafto Sub-City Child Parliament members, along with representatives from Save the Children Ethiopia, met in Bishoftu to strengthen child-led advocacy on disability and inclusion. The training built practical skills to address barriers facing marginalized children and promoted inclusive monitoring, self-advocacy, and GEDSI integration. It also reinforced collaboration priorities on street children, disability, and gender equality, while reaffirming OSD’s commitment to evidence-based, inclusive services in Addis Ababa.

On 18 April 2026, the Organization for Social Development (OSD) held a Child Participation Training in Bishoftu for children, staff, and partner organizations. The training strengthened understanding of child participation as a right and promoted practical ways to involve children in decisions affecting their lives. Participants agreed to further strengthen inclusive and meaningful child engagement in future programs.
