ACLIC Formally Adopts New Bylaws, Strengthening Child-Led Governance in Addis
ADDIS ABABA – On February 4, 2026, the Addis Child-Led Initiative Coalition (ACLIC) reached a major milestone by officially ratifying its Bylaws at the Inter Luxury Hotel. Representatives from all 11 sub-cities voted unanimously to adopt the new governing framework.
This "rule book" marks a new chapter for ACLIC, establishing:
- Clear Leadership: Defined roles for the President and Secretariat.
- Stronger Legitimacy: A unified voice for child-led clubs city-wide.
- Future Growth: A solid roadmap for the 2025–2028 advocacy period.
With the support of Save the Children, this move ensures ACLIC remains a transparent, sustainable, and truly child-led platform for change in Ethiopia.
ACLIC Hosts Save the Children Sweden for a Day of Inspiration and Impact
On January 29, 2026 Organization for Social Development (OSD) was honored to welcome colleagues from Save the Children Sweden to our office for a high-energy exchange with the Addis Child-Led Initiatives Coalition (ACLIC).
The visit focused on the incredible strides the coalition has made in amplifying children's voices across the 11 sub-cities of Addis Ababa. Members of the ACLIC leadership team took the floor to present their work, proving once again that children aren't just the leaders of tomorrow they are leading today.
